Townsville in north Queensland has recorded its wettest summer on record,
with
1,725 millimetres of rain falling during the December, January and February period.
Most of the capital cities saw near or above average rainfall amounts during this summer after after wet second half. The exception to this was Perth, with almost no rain.
Many of our Live stock and native animals are stranded without food and shelter.
RSPCA is doing a wonderfull job in rescuing as many as possible in this situation.
